Don’t forget to snap a shot of him and loot his body to get Granger’s Revolver. Do it, and defeat him in a duel to complete this stage of the quest. There’s a farm on Flat Iron Lake - talk to him and he’ll ask you to help clean up around the farm. The first gunslinger is located just east of Flatneck Station, south of Valentine. Examine them all and the gunslinger location will appear on your map. He’ll give you photographs in your inventory. To help him, he’ll need you to meet five old gunslingers. In the saloon, you’ll meet Theodore Levin - a writer from out east that’s working on a book. The Stranger Mission will appear fairly early in your open-world adventuring, and you’ll see the icon every time you ride in or out of Valentine. To begin the Gunslinger quest, enter the smaller saloon in the town of Valentine in Chapter 2.
